Michael Selleck, DDS, DABDSM, has practiced general, implant, and cosmetic dentistry for over 40 years. A concern and passion for the patient’s well-being, combined with his dental experience, led Dr. Selleck to study and complete extensive training in the field of dental sleep medicine to ensure the effective and appropriate treatment of patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Selleck, with his expertise, has gained recognition among physicians, dentists, and patients for his ability to effectively treat and manage patients with mild to severe obstructive sleep apnea using oral therapy. In 2017, Dr. Selleck became the first in Contra Costa County to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, as well as one of 300 worldwide. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, a life member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Association.
He is married with five children, two sons and three daughters, and is an avid animal and pet advocate and owner. He is also a dedicated swimmer as well as a fan of the Golden State Warriors.
